TRANSPORT RULES AND REGULATIONS
SHORT DISTANCE TRANSPORTATION: (100 MILES OR UNDER ONE WAY)
An owner may travel free of charge or just the pet can be taken with prior consent for me to act on the owner's behalf. Owner must make payment arrangement with their veterinary, we are not responsible or able to handle your charges or payments made to the veterinary.
I am available to take your pet to and from veterinary surgeons, sick or injured pets take priority. More than one pet can be carried from the same household and seperately if needed. Up to two people can accompany their pets.
I can also transport to and from boarding establishments, groomers, hydrotherapy etc and to transport pets during house moves within the US (for sick or injured animals veterinary advice should always be sought first).
The service is available 24/7. Any non availability will be listed on a phone message or on website under hours of operation.
All pets must be in a travel crate or cage during transport. If pet is well behaved and with owner, we will allow a leash in the transport. However, if at any time your pet jumps on items in the ambulance for your safety we will need to put your pet in a crate/cage. We have different types of crates. We have a plastic one, and open mobile cage and cage. We try to accommodate so your pet has a safe trip. Insurance and law is that all dogs must be on a leash, seat belt or kennel during transport. We are able to use harness seat belts for your pet. We do sell the seat belts as well, if you would like your pet to be in a seatbelt harness instead of the above. All passengers must be in a seatbelt at all times during travel, it is a State law.
USDA requires all payments to be made before transport.
LONG DISTANCE TRANSPORTATION (100 MILES OR OVER):
You’ll need a good kennel, bedding, provisions for food and water and any medications. It’s also best to obtain a health certificate from a vet prior to pet transportation. You can purchase a travel kennel from us and we do have crates available for long distance trips. We do not go Ground Statewide transport at this time but will go up to 500 miles for relocation, medical treatments, etc. There will be additional charge if owners are traveling with their pet over 100 miles.
